What size marquee do I need?

This will ultimately come down to a number of factors including what you’re using the marquee for, the number of people attending, seated or standing layout and the area available.

All of our marquee listings online include table and seating chart layouts to give you an idea of how many tables and chairs will comfortably fit inside each marquee.

Who will install the marquee?

Our team installs all structure and pagoda marquees (included in hire pricing). DIY marquees can be self installed or you can have us install them for an additional fee.

Marquee accessories like walls, flooring and lighting are also installed by our team for all structure and pagoda marquee hires.

How do I know which marquee to hire?

Again, sizing and purpose are the main factors in choosing which marquee to hire for your event.

A structure or “pavillion” marquee is popular for its clear span build (ie. no centre poles and high ceiling) and the ability to extend it’s length in a modular manner (usually built in 3 metre length increments).

Pagoda or “peak top” marquees are still heavy duty and great for sports carnivals, corporate events or smaller spaces but do feature lower internal ceilings.

DIY gazebo marquees or “pop up” marquees are usually self install and the easiest option for backyards, parks, sports carnivals or parties where shade is the basic requirement.

Do you have walls available for the marquees?

All of our marquees including structure, pagoda and pop up are available with plain white walls with our structure marquees also offering a “clear” option for weddings or special events.

Do you have flooring available for the marquee?

If you’re looking to cover a patchy area of grass or spice up a bland concrete surface, we have multiple marquee flooring options available.

Our structure marquees offer flooring hire options for any type of event including premium timber flooring, fake grass, carpet tiles and pro flooring.

When will you set up and take down the marquee?

We can set up and take down our marquees any day of the week at any time of the day to suit your requirements.

Generally speaking though, for unrestricted events taking place on a weekend, we’ll build and pull down your marquee on weekdays to allow you time to decorate and finish off those special touches.

Do you supply any furniture for marquees?

We’re a full service party hire company so we sure do!

Our range carries all types of furniture for any event including weddings, corporate, sports or party. We offer table hire, chair hire, linen hire, stage hire, light up letters, wine barrel hire, pallet furniture hire and so much more!

Can you install on concrete?

Yes we can ! Anchoring the marquee on concrete or a hard surface involves the supply and install of a lot of concrete blocks to weigh the marquee down.

Additional fees do apply but this is not a problem and can be added to your quotation!

Can we hang lighting or decorations from the marquee?

You sure can!

We offer festoon or fairy lighting installed underneath the marquee canopy as an added option however if you’re supplying your own unique lighting solution, greenery or balloon ceiling, these can easily attach to the frame of the marquee

What locations do you hire your marquees to?

We’re a Brisbane based marquee hire company but install our marquees in most locations including all areas of Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Bayside and as far as Toowomba or the Hinterland depending on the size.
